Jungle Club & Koh Samui’s Other Amazing Viewpoint Restaurants – Visitor’s Guide
Jungle Club is a gorgeous Instagrammable resort and restaurant that’s positioned high up in the hills in Koh Samui – It has a viewing platform that extends out over the cliffside which is considered the best view on the island. I recommend trying to visit for dinner during the sunset hours between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, but do know that you need a reservation to get a seat!

All About Jungle Club Koh Samui Resort & Restaurant
When most people think of the tropical island of Koh Samui, images of blue water and white sand beaches come to mind. Positioned high up in the hills of the island, the Jungle Club offers a different side of Koh Samui to visitors. With dare-devil views of the cliffs and ocean, the Jungle Club is the most adventurous dining experience on the island!

How to Get to Jungle Club
The easiest way to get to Jungle Club is via their own transfer service, which runs private transport from resorts in the Chaweng Noi Beach area, and Chaweng Beach Road. If your hotel is located on another area of the island, the second easiest way to get to Jungle Club is by renting a scooter and driving yourself. 💡 Keep in mind that the hill to reach Jungle Club is very steep, and not all scooters carrying more than one person can make it up!
Tip: Reservations at Jungle Club are first-come-first-serve and are accepted up to a week in advance. You can make a reservation by calling 081-894-2327 (also available via WhatsApp.

My Top Tips For Visiting Jungle Club Koh Samui
✅ Make A Reservation Ahead Of Time! Seriously! I thought I would be in the clear visiting on an off hour on a Tuesday, but I still had to wait to get in without a reservation.
✅ Use Jungle Club’s Transfer Service! If you’re coming from the Chaweng Beach area you can use Jungle Club’s own transfer service, which charges 400-600 Baht ($12-$18) for private round-trip transfers of parties up to 10 people.
✅ Know The Pool Is Only For Guests – Jungle Club isn’t a day/beach club in Koh Samui, it’s a resort with a bar & restaurant. If you want the full lounge-by-the-pool-with-a-margarita experience you need to be a guest of the hotel! ▶︎ Book Your Stay At JungleClub Here!

✅ You Need To Make A Reservation Ahead Of Time For Sunset! The Jungle Club doesn’t even allow people to take photos on the deck during sunset hours if their reservation isn’t for the deck area.
✅ Save Some $$$ & Try Thai Food – The Thai menu at Jungle Club is cheaper than the Western one, and I thought my Thai Green Curry was one of the nicest ones I had on Koh Samui so far.
✅ ASK For A Better Table If You See One Available! The waiters were constantly shuffling around tables so everyone got the best view possible – let your server know if you’d like to switch!

🥥 My Review
I loved my entree at the Jungle Club. I ordered a Thai Green Curry and they made it extra special by plating it in a real coconut! I have never had a curry plated like this in Thailand before, and it was so good to be able to scoop out all the coconut after I finished the curry! The dishes at the Jungle Club come with flowers as a garnish as well, which adds to the “jungle” vibe and was such a cute dining experience.

Other Viewpoint Restaurants In Koh Samui
The Cocoon Restaurant
The Cocoon is another amazing viewpoint restaurant in Koh Samui that makes a great alternative to the Jungle Club. The Cocoon is a small cafe that’s eco-themed from the bathrooms to the wooden bowls the food is served in. The main draw of the Cocoon is the large hammock they have overhanging the side of the restaurant. While no one actually sits in “the cocoon” to eat their meal, it makes for the perfect photo spot!

The Roof Samui
The Roof Samui is very similar to The Jungle Club, with bright orange bean bag chairs. But, I would only recommend it if there’s no availability at the Jungle Club. The reason I wasn’t so keen on The Roof is that it’s much more rustic than the Jungle Club is – there’s no proper parking lot, and the road leading up to it isn’t paved. The menu at the Roof is huge, they serve all types of Thai and Western food. It reminds me a little bit of a diner menu back home in NY/NJ. While I do think the Thai food I had at The Roof was good, it cost almost 2x what I paid at the Jungle Club! For a much less fancy experience. So, while I do think The Roof Samui had a bit of “tourist trap” vibe, it’s a good alternative if you can’t get a reservation at The Jungle Club!
