PARQ Ubud – Things to Do & Visitors Guide
PARQ Space Ubud, also called the “City Of The Future” is an up-scale housing development located right outside of Ubud. Featuring the largest gym and sauna complex in Ubud, as well as multiple cafes, CoWorks, and contemporary art installations, PARQ Space makes a great stop in Ubud for tourists and locals alike.

All About PARQ Space In Ubud
PARQ Space Ubud is a concept living/coworking development dubbed the “City Of The Future” by its founders. It’s an all-in-one futuristic luxury housing development that has apartments, two coworking spaces, a gym, a sauna complex, boutique shops, an event space, and multiple cafes and restaurants housed in one massive complex just outside of Ubud in Tegallalang. Filled with contemporary art installations, most notably the life-sized plane hanging from the ceiling that greets you in the reception, PARQ Space is geared towards ex-pats, families, and Digital Nomads in Bali who are staying long term.
In addition to being called the “City Of The Future”, PARQ Space Ubud is also known as “Little Moscow” to other locals and ex-pats in Bali, due to the vast majority of its patrons being Russian. At PARQ, exercise classes are taught in Russian, and the restaurant menus sell Borsch and Vareniki alongside Western and Balinese food – While PARQ definitely seems like it’s for Russian Expats and travelers in Bali, it’s open to people from any country.

17 Things You Can Do At PARQ Ubud
1. Visit Gymnasium Ubud
Gymnasium Ubud is one of the largest air-conditioned modern gyms in all of Bali, and definitely the largest of its kind in Ubud. Gymnasium Ubud has a fully indoor gym featuring all manner of cardio and weight lifting equipment, a full rack of weights, and a large area that can hold a ton of people spreading out with mats.
Attend A Workout Class At Gymnasium Ubud
Almost every day of the week there’s a fitness class at PARQ’s Gym, Gymnasium. Ranging from Yoga to Kickboxing, Barre, Parkour, to Circuit Training, there’s something for everyone. 💡 Note! This wasn’t advertised at all when I signed up for Gymnasium Ubud, but do know that the classes are all taught in Russian!

2. Relax At Sauna Bali
Sauna Bali is the sauna complex connected with Gymnasium Ubud. Although they’re housed in the same complex, they have different ownership and you have to purchase separate memberships for each. The Sauna complex has three separate saunas: a steam room, a hotter sauna, and a colder one; as well as a cold plunge and a pool. Come nightfall Sauna Bali turns into a social scene, and you can visit the bar and restaurant in the complex even if you’re not a Sauna member.

3. Get A Massage At Posh Beauty Salon & Spa
In the same building as the gym and sauna lies Posh Beauty Salon. Posh Spa has an extensive salon menu, where you can get every type of massage imaginable, plus aromatherapy, and hot stone therapy.

5. Enjoy BitterSweet Cafe & Coworking Space
PARQ Space has not one but two separate coworking spaces. One is the huge main common room connected to Bittersweet Cafe. While Bittersweet Cafe advertises itself as a coworking cafe, it’s a pretty noisy open area, so it’s not great for calls – but there is an air-conditioned quiet room with a whiteboard that can be booked out for meetings.

4. Do Some CoWorking at Wifi Zone
Wifi Zone is the traditional CoWork at PARQ. It’s pretty hidden, if you ask any of the staff where the CoWork is, they’ll just direct you to BitterSweet Cafe in the main hall. The Wifi Zone CoWork is located above the gym in the second building, and they offer different memberships ranging from 1 visit to 6 months.

6. Have A Salad At Organics Salad Bar
PARQ Space is now home to a trio of “health food” eateries to go along with the wellness vibe of the gym, sauna, and spa complex. There’s a salad bar, a vegan/gluten-free bakery, and a juicing bar.

7. Enjoy A Fresh Juice At Vitamin Detox Bar
As part of PARQ’s new health-food expansion, there’s a fresh Juice bar next to the vegan bakery and salad bar.

8. Experience Float PARQ – Sensory Enhancement Center
If I were going to describe Float PARQ, it would be as a combination of a sensory deprivation chamber with sound and light therapy. You have two options: Float Tanks and Light Pods. The Float Tanks are full of holy water from Tirta Empul Water Temple in Ubud. The Light Pods use light, vibration, and sound to help participants explore altered states – Both pods are meant to enhance meditation practices.
💡 Fun Fact! The same technology at Float PARQ Sensory Enhancement Center is used at Ubud’s famous “Pyramids Of Chi”.

9. Rent A Condo
PARQ is first and foremost an apartment complex where you can rent different condos on a monthly basis. You cannot rent (or even view) the apartments at PARQ online, instead, you need to arrange to view and rent the apartments with a representative who will get in touch with you after you notify a representative at the front desk of your interest.

10. Have Dinner In Their Restaurant
PARQ is now home to a white-tablecloth restaurant adjacent to the swimming pool.

11. Go For A Swim In The Pool
PARQ is home to an outdoor Olympic-length swimming pool that spans the long corridor connecting the main building to the gym complex. It’s a great place to go for a swim, or lounge on the sunbeds and get some work done.
12. Have A Traditional Tea Ceremony In The Tea House
On the ground floor of PARQ Space, there is a traditional Chinese Tea House where you can sample a wide variety of both local and imported specialty teas.

13. Attend An Event
There are always various concerts, business conferences, and other events going on at PARQ – With a particular emphasis on Crypto-related events.
14. Bring Your Kids To The Kids Club
There’s a dedicated kid’s club at PARQ, as well as fitness classes just for kids!

16. Go Shopping!
There are various boutiques in PARQ Space selling elevated yoga wear, handmade goods, and plenty of BOHO dresses popular in Bali.
17. Host An Event
PARQ Space Ubud has several different event venues and a concert hall that fits 1,500 people on site. If you want to host an event, concert, or conference you can reach out to PARQ directly.
💰 PARQ Space Prices
PARQ Space doesn’t have a set membership fee like the other day clubs in Bali. Instead, it’s actually 100% free to go to PARQ Space and enjoy their restaurants and boutiques. All you need to do is purchase any item from their cafe, entry is free. If you want to go to the gym, sauna, spa, CoWork, or sensory enhancement center, you can purchase membership ranging from 1 day to multi-month packages. All the memberships and activities at PARQ are sold separately, so there’s not one membership that grants you access to all the activities in the complex.
