9 BEST Gyms in Ubud – Every Fitness Center Ranked
I spent 6 wonderful months living in Ubud – For those that do not know me, I am a gym and fitness junkie, and I make sure to have a fitness center membership wherever I go. Here are my local recommendations for the best gyms in Ubud: which have AC, and the best budget gyms, including CrossFit and Yoga options.
✔️ Quick Guide – Best Gyms in Ubud
- 🏆 Gymnasium Ubud at PARQ Space – Best luxury option
- 🍾 Titi Batu Gym & Day Club – Budget-luxury option
- 🏋️♀️ Ubud Fitness (Formerly CrossFit Ubud) – Open-air Crossfit Gym
- 🧘♀️ The Yoga Barn – Internationally famous yoga studio
- ❄️ Ubud Fitness Center – Budget option with AC
- 💰 Massa’s Fitness Center – Most budget-friendly

1. PARQ’s Gymnasium Bali: Social Club, Gym, CoWork, & Sauna Complex
Gymnasium Bali at PARQ Space Ubud is by far the best-equipped gym in Ubud, but the price reflects that. PARQ Space is Ubud’s answer to Finn’s Recreation Club – It’s an all-in-one social CoWork, cafe, gym, and sauna complex. While it’s expensive, it’s really the only gym of its kind in Ubud. Gymnasium at PARQ is huge, with new brand-name equipment, and AC, and it’s very clean.

Exercise Classes & Kids Club: Gymnasium offers daily exercise classes and children’s play sessions for additional fees, but do know that these are all in Russian.
💰 Prices: Gymnasium currently costs 1,700,000 IDR for a monthly gym pass, and an additional 100,000,000 IDR ($70) per month if you would like to use their sauna complex, Hot Haus Bali, for a total of 2,700,000 IDR ($175).
💰Note! These prices are prone to change at any time, and frequently do! Prices have doubled in the past year alone.

2. Titi Batu: Smaller Scale Social Club With Pool, Gym, & Events
Titi Batu is one of the best day clubs in Ubud, and one of the only ones that have a built-in gym with AC! Your membership includes access to the whole complex, which includes a gym, sauna, steam room, skate park, restaurant, pool, CoWork, and children’s playground. Titi Batu also frequently hosts events like live music, DJs, and even water balloon fights.

Titi Batu is another day club, CoWork, gym, and sauna combo club in Ubud that’s similar to PARQ Space. However, the gym and sauna are around 1/2 the size of Gymnasium Bali’s, and the price for a membership is around half as well. Out of the 6 months I lived in Ubud, I spent 3 months as a member at PARQ and the other 3 as a member at Titi Batu.
💰 Prices: The current monthly rate at Titi Batu is 1,120,000 IDR – Which while it isn’t cheap, is around a 1/3 of the price of PARQ Space. So if you want a luxurious day club, gym, and sauna combo membership on a budget, Titi Batu is your best option.

3. Ubud Fitness – Also Known as CrossFit Ubud
Not to be confused with Ubud Fitness Center, Ubud Fitness is a totally different gym in Ubud. Ubud Fitness is another CrossFit gym in Ubud that doesn’t have a ton of equipment but is very well designed. Ubud Fitness also goes by the name “Crossfit Ubud”. It has row machines, bikes, and weights. The selling point at Ubud Fitness is definitely the classes, which they run all day.

4. Yoga Barn – Famous Spot in Ubud
The Yoga Barn is a famous spot in Ubud. They offer yoga classes as well as meditation and ecstatic dance sessions. Lots of people flock to Ubud just to take yoga classes in their famous tree-house complex. If you’re a yogi, the Yoga Barn is definitely worth a trip!
5. Ubud Fitness Center – Most Budget Option With AC
Ubud Fitness Center is best for anyone who just wants to get a workout in an AC gym and doesn’t require any other amenities. Ubud Fitness Center, not to be confused with the CrossFit gym called “Ubud Fitness”, is another great option in Ubud. It’s located slightly outside of the center of Ubud and features a fully air-conditioned space. Ubud Fitness Center is good for people only in Ubud for a few days, since they offer reasonably priced day passes at only 90K IDR ($6). A monthly membership is only 550K ($36).

6. Jungle Box Ubud – Crossfit Gym
Jungle Box Ubud is another huge open-air CrossFit gym in Ubud. They specialize in classes and are located north of Ubud’s city center.
7. Massa’s Fitness Center – Local Spot With Cheap Day Pass
Massa’s is one of the larger gyms in Ubud that is frequented by both locals and foreigners. It has a weight rack, lockers, and a variety of other gym equipment. If you’re looking to just visit the gym one or two times during your time in Ubud, Massa’s is the most budget-friendly since it’s only 40K Indonesian Rupiah ($2.50) for a day pass. The downside to Massa’s Fitness Center is that there is no AC, and it can get very hot in Ubud. It’s also not clean compared to the other gyms on this list.
💰 Prices: Massa’s is the cheapest gym for a day pass, at only 40K IDR ($2.60), but it’s pretty expensive for a month (540K IDR) for what you get.
8. Ubud Gym – Ultra Budget Gy
Ubud Gym is the first thing that comes up when people google “gyms in Ubud” so that’s why I’m including it on this list. I wouldn’t recommend visiting Ubud Gym unless you’re looking for an experience, it’s very old and outdated. There’s no AC or fans. While Ubud Gym is the oldest gym on this list, it’s also the cheapest. Local Indonesians only pay 5K IDR a day to use Ubud Gym, and foreigners pay around 20K ($1).
9. Resya Gym
Resya Gym is located north of Ubud Center. It’s a great modern gym with new equipment. It’s very inexpensive at only 50K IDR ($3.50) for a day pass. Resya Gym doesn’t have air conditioning, even though it’s inside, so keep in mind it will get very hot!
